Do I Really Need a
Website?
I'm not exactly sure. Let me ask you a few questions.
Do really want an opportunity to have more clients?
Do you have business cards, but want your clients
to know more about you from just a card? It
would be nice to have your website address on
there, wouldn't it? Do you want to spend a lot
of money on brochures, when all you have to
do is send them to an online brochure.? You
don't want to create roadblocks between you
and your potential clients. You want to give
your company every opportunity to be seen.
How
Do I Edit My Website Once it is Completed?
If you have an html site, and have experience
in html then you can use any available html
editor. If you want to edit flash, you are going
to need some experience in flash. If you have
a site with a shopping cart or a database, you
are going to need some knowledge in those fields
as well. If you do not have this background,
then you might consider our maintanance
package. For simple text changes, we give
you the ability to do this without any knowledge
of html or complicated scripting. How
Do I Get to the Top of Google or other search
engines?
This is probably the most
often-heard question we get. If you would
like to get to the top of any search engine
right away, you may have to pay for it, and
even then you may not get to the very top.
Its called Pay-Per-Click and you can read
more about it here. Aside from pay per click
(usually highlighted with a blue background
at the very top or on the right side of a
search engine result), organic placement is
the only other method. This is the conventional
listing which involves metatags, keywords,
updating, and linking. It is EXTREMELY difficult
to get to the top this way. You have to really
know what you are doing, and be able to have
a staff of people on hand to manage your site.
If you do not have the resourses, do not expect
to get to the top of the search engines this
way.
